True value is in internet of services

Fourth industrial revolution is said to be when Internet of Things becomes Internet of Services and cyber physical systems are extensively deployed. Internet of Things is an enabler. The true value lies in Internet of Services.  I was visiting at SIEMENS in Münich two weeks ago and heard a lecture about their vision. SIEMENS claims Internet of Services is nothing new for them, It’s been there for more than 10 years, but now the value is realized. Internet of Things is the technology platform which makes Internet of Services possible. Together IoT and IoS makes Real-time Enterprise to become true.
