We are hiring a Technical Implementation Lead for North America

Location: St. Petersburg FL, USA, Hybrid (on-site first 90 days)

Delfoi is a Finnish software company with 30+ years of experience in production planning and scheduling. Our cloud-based Delfoi Planner (APS/MES) helps manufacturers reduce lead times, improve delivery reliability, and gain real-time visibility across their operations. We partner with Oracle NetSuite, SAP, and Microsoft. As we grow in North America, we’re hiring a Technical Implementation Lead based in St. Petersburg, FL. This is a new Delfoi branch launching in the U.S., a ground-floor opportunity to help build something new from the start.

THE ROLE:

You’ll be the US technical lead for Delfoi Planner implementations, owning customer projects from kickoff through go-live. That means running the technical workstream of each engagement: configuring Delfoi Planner to fit the customer’s production processes, integrating with their ERP, leading the project timeline, and supporting customers through training and adoption. You’ll act as the primary technical point of contact for US customers, working hand-in-hand with our Finland-based product team to deliver successful implementations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Lead the end-to-end implementation of Delfoi Planner at US customer sites, from kickoff through configuration, integration, testing, and go-live.
  • Configure Delfoi Planner to the customer’s production environment, including ERP integration (Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics) and data modeling.
  • Run technical demonstrations of Delfoi Planner, configured to the customer’s production environment, showing stakeholders how the system will work for their operations.
  • Own the project plan – scope, timeline, risks, milestones – and drive the work to completion with the Finland engineering team.
  • Deliver customer training sessions, and support customers through the first weeks of production use.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for US customers during implementation and early adoption.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience in B2B IT solution sales, ideally in ERP, MRP, or production planning solutions.
  • Ability to conduct effective, straightforward product demonstrations to prospects
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing IT, lean production, and production processes.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Self-sufficient, trustworthy, and capable of operating independently.
  • Located in Eastern or Central U.S. time zones.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Active Passport, and authorized to work in the USA
NICE TO HAVE:
  • Degree in production engineering, industrial engineering, or industrial management.
  • Experience with production, IT system implementation projects, or technical consulting.
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering technical training for customers or partners.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours when a customer deadline or implementation milestone requires it.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • Self-directed – you manage your own work and priorities.
  • Collaborative across teams and time zones (US and Finland).
  • A clear communicator who follows up on time.
  • Trustworthy with customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Comfortable operating independently and leading technical projects end-to-end.
TRAVEL:
  • Up to 25% domestic travel to customer sites and partner events.
  • Active US passport required – expect 3–4 weeks of training in Finland, which can be spread out over time (not necessarily consecutive).
COMPENSATION AND LOCATION:
  • Base salary: $95,000–$115,000 depending on experience.
  • Bonus: 10% target annual incentive tied to company and individual performance.
  • Benefits: monthly stipend provided in lieu of a group plan (applies to medical, dental, and vision). Standard 401(k), 15–20 PTO days plus holidays.
  • Location: on-site in St. Petersburg, FL for the first 90 days, then hybrid
  • Relocation assistance available for the right candidate. US work authorization required.
